The baby owl we rescued last week is doing well. He was picked up by "The Carolina Raptor Center" in Charlotte and is being well taken care of. They determined that he is about 7 weeks old and in very good health. He should learn to fly in about 3 more weeks and will be brought back to our community and released....thought that was kinda neat and some of you may be wondering how it all turned out.

I'm glad to hear your owl made it to a safe place. I've often thought I should take my kids there, I've heard it's a neat place. I like your blog, it looks like y'all have a fun place to live!
