~ Hello, fall ~

I'm not sure how summer slipped away so quickly, but as I turn my attention toward this new season of the year....I realize that I welcome it gladly!!!  I love fall :))

Some of the reasons are....

• cooler weather
• low to no humidity
• school is back in session....love the school year pace.  Everybody has a little structure to their day :)
• hunting season....keeps my boys and girls close by :)
• shorter days means more family time :)
• long sleeves....maybe even a jacket.
• the summer garden is gone
• my greens are planted and I'm eagerly awaiting the day when I can pick some ;)
• bonfires and s'mores
• love wearing my boots
• Ivan is spending more time with us lately....could have something to do with his love for hunting :)
• chili on the stove
• hot chocolate and popcorn at night
• a good 'ol board game
• more time to cross stitch and crochet
• plenty of time to pick and grin :))
