~ Remembering 9/11 ~

Where were you when the world stopped turning?  I'll never forget that day as long as I live....We had 4 children at the time and I had just laid the baby ( 5 months old ) down for his morning nap and was returning to my toddler and two elementary students preparing to get on with our morning when I got a phone call.  My whole perspective changed that very moment....my schedule changed that moment....nothing else seemed to matter as I tried to wrap my mind around what was really happening!!!  With Johnny being a firefighter, I could not even imagine what the families of these brave men and women were and still are going through for our nation!  They definitely put their lives on the line each time they are called to help others.....I don't want to ever take them for granted!!!  God bless America!!!
