~ Thanksgiving ~

Even though I have so much to be thankful for each and every day....I always enjoy pausing and reflecting on the past year when "Thanksgiving" comes around.  Everybody kinda has their own traditions and ways of celebrating the "Thanksgiving" holiday....whether it be cooking....enjoying company....working on the farm....simply relaxing....traveling to see family and friends....or just being so blessed and able to be with family without traveling because we all live so close together!!!  I happen to fall into the last category....yeah, I know I am very blessed!!!

Some of my many blessings are:
  • A God above who loves me no matter what
  • a loving family
  • six beautiful children
  • all but one of my children still at home with me and he comes to visit regularly :)
  • a nice warm, cozy home to live in
  • Hubby's steady job
  • plenty to eat
  • plenty to wear
  • great friends
  • working with my Mom
  • a new part-time job opportunity
  • homeschooling my children....guess who's learning the most?...haha
  • getting to spend so much time with my little people....some days I think they even like me :)
  • music....what would I do without it?
  • learning a new musical instrument
  • my Mom and Dad.....the two most selfless people I know :)
  • my extended family
  • great neighbors.....always tolerant of our noise....there are quite a few of us :)
  • and last but not least....you....my faithful readers! Maybe this little blog has touched or encouraged you in some way :)
Wishing you all a very "Happy Thanksgiving" and hope you get to spend time with the ones you love most :))  Thank you for visiting us!!!

  2. So many things to be thankful for. I love it when older ones come back home to visit. It does a Mama's heart so good :-)
