~ Brown Mountain, NC ~

The heat here in Union County has been taking a toll on us lately.  It created quite a longing among us to be somewhere cooler.  We headed to the Mountains of NC for the day earlier in the week.  Lots of cousins, grandparents, aunts, uncles and friends tagged along with us.  Although it wasn't much cooler there, a good time was had by all!!!  We carried a picnic lunch and spent the day swimming and catching up with each other.  Hope you enjoy the pics!
