Sunday afternoon Johnny and I took our four youngest to the Carolina Aviation Museum out near Charlotte Douglas airport. The museum is home to some old war planes, a Chinook helicopter, a replica of the "Wright Brothers Flyer" , an old Cessna and the plane that went down in the Hudson Bay back in 2009.....some of the exhibits weren't supposed to be touched but there were some you could sit in and enjoy :) A very neat place indeed if you're into planes. We have two flying enthusiasts lately here in the house so we decided this would be a great time to go!!! Afterward, we went out to the airport and watched the planes coming and going for a while....the weather was just perfect :)
